Antiparos Island

Antiparos is a small island south-west of Paros with a lot of nice beaches and great hospitality. Along the coastal road are several traditional tavernas, restaurants, bars and coffee-shops, working mainly during the summer months. Related with Paros it 's a quite place for easy vacation near the wonderful nature. The most impressive part of the settlement is the Castro region, where the islanders lived during the 15th-19th century, in order to protect themselves from the pirates. What has been saved today is only parts of the base of the big tower which existed in the center of the castle as well as parts of its walls. Visiting the famous Archilochos's or Antiparos cave with its stalactites and chapel of Agios Ioannis Spiliotis.
